'The Truth About Forever' by Sarah Dessen Review

Dear readers,

Me again! One more review again! This time the book is a little bit of a chick book.  I actually really enjoy chick books, and despite the slightly heavy title. The book is surprisingly warm and down to earth. The book is about a young girl called Macy, discovering herself, during a summer and letting go of her mother's and boyfriend's expectations. Though the book may not sound interesting. The characters have been written beautifully, and are very realistic as well as easy to relate to. I particularly favor Kristy, an eccentric character who is humorous during the story. Sarah Dessen is an incredibly good writer who knows how to pull your heartstrings.  Perhaps the only downfall may be that I felt she may have finished the end in a rush. Although definitely not a cliff hanger, it felt like it needed more closure. The book had me grinning, and sometimes even laughing out loud at points.  If you haven't already, you really should pick this book up.
Well that's all from me folks!

Make peace, not war y'all!

Lillian
