SM Entertainment & The Artists that I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Dear Readers,

Lillian checking in once more: this post I wanted to do on SM Entertainment- im writing and promoting the artists that i ♥ that are managed under SM entertainment:

BACKGROUND INFO ON COMPANY:

Today, SM Entertainment is known as one of the "Big Three" record companies in South Korea, along with YG Entertainment and JYP Entertainment, for their large market share.
SM Entertainment’s Lee Soo-man-chairman was a singer in the mid-seventies
Out of the three companies SM is known for being the most strict, and controlling, as well as having a number of scandals affiliated with it including just this year three members of it's bigger artists leave their groups i.e. Kris & Luhan from EXO (M) as well as Jessica from Girl's Generation

SM entertainment really does seem to have a monopoly on large groups-----ok this post is only on the artists and a brief run down on some of the songs I like etc.....

SUPER JUNIOR :

Super Junior- an internationally famous boy band that debutted with 13 members-now with officially 11 members after Han Geng left :'( although Kibum can be practically called inactive due to him not participating for a good number of years. In addition they have sub groups with the depature of Han Geng, he was replaced by 2 other members who have now officially debutted as solo artists Henry & Zhoumi
Currently with 10 members due to Yesung being away for military duty (mandatory within Korea)

When they first debuted as a 12 member group

Fan Name: ELF Everlasting Friend...see we don't have that in America and isn't that just too cute!
Fan color: Pearl Sapphire Blue-colour of the merchandise and glow sticks etc most commonly worn by fans when supporting Super Junior

Fan Name: SNSD fans are called S♥NEs (pronouced "so one") because it means that SNSD & their fans are one.

Fan name: SHINee's fanclub, SHINee World, is taken from the title of their first album & because Shining Land = SHINee + World. It's also known as Shawol, which is just a shortened version of the two words combined.

Fan Color: Pearlescent Sky Blue.

TVXQ-U-Know Yunho and Max Changmin

Originally a five man band-but now only a duo :'( they are though a duo worth mentioning as their voices and skills compliment each other-referring to the fact that they compensate for each others weakness or holes in skills, and overall enhancing each others strengths.

F(x)

A five member group girl with international members-including my bias/fave: Amber who comes from Taiwan. Known as a group whose music is a fusion of electronic and pop.
Their name is the mathematical notation for function,which member Krystal defined as their aim to change and adapt into many situations.

Fan name: f(x)'s "fanclub" is named Aff(x)tion, pronounced Affection.

Make Up according to their latest release: Red Light But don't they look cool?

Fan Color: Pearl Periwinkle [By the way i have no idea what color this is but i'll go with it]

EXO

Another huge group-dubbed by Super Junior as their next generation.
This group is a 12 member boy group separated into two groups called EXO-M (top row) and EXO-K (bottom row) where each group promotes their songs in different countries i.e. in China (Mandarin) and in Korea (Korean)
Together they are called just EXO.
Their name is taken from the word exo planet meaning planets that are from a different solar system. Unfortunately due to dispute between SM and two members Kris & Luhan (both from EXO-M) have left the group. However this group still goes on and I hope for the best for them.

That's more like it!

Fan Name: EXO-L L being in between L and K and M as well as being the first letter for Love. They worked that one pretty well I'd say. Seriously the fact it's in between M and K is such a coincidence.
